PRESENTS A SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE
IN CELEBRATION OF
ALL HALLOWS EVE
October 30, 2005
Revels annual Autumn Celebration and a prelude to the holiday season was presented at the Julia Morgan Theater on October 30, 2005. As with all Revels productions, this show case blended traditional music, dance and ritual to create a celebratory and unique form of music theater. This show case featured the a capella singing group Oak, Ash & Thorn who specialize in English Traditional Folk music and have been delighting Bay Area audiences over thirty years. Also on the program were several good stories, our team of Morris Dancers, The Solstice Singers, and some special surprises from Ensemble Alcatraz performers. This Celebration of All Hallows Eve with Revels ushered in the 2005 holiday season, which will culminate this December in our 20th Anniversary production of The Christmas Revels.
